Accessible via the Forum, the Here and There space provides both documentation and information. From the origins of the project to the cultural events programmed, and from the establishment itself to its geographical setting, numerous resources invite visitors to discover the Centre Pompidou- Metz and the area surrounding it.

Cultural Landscape

Overhead views of the Metz metropolitan area and the Lorraine region, imprinted on the ground, show the strategic position of the Centre Pompidou-Metz. A landscape that includes the countries bordering Lorraine: Luxembourg, Germany and Belgium.

A wall chart linking cultural institutions and major 20th century architectural sites in the “Grande Région” (Lorraine, Luxembourg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland and Wallonia).

Here and There invites visitors to discover the many cultural and tourist sites both in the region and across its borders. You can browse through brochures presenting the visual arts, decorative arts, and the live events proposed in the various destinations.

The project adventure

Visitors are invited to relive the highlights in building construction by a series of photographs and key dates. The building’s unique features are revealed through a presentation of architectural elements.

Visitors are free to look around during the opening hours of the Centre Pompidou-Metz.
