Demathieu & Bard’s workforce of 2,300 is active across France. The company began operating abroad more than 30 years ago and has subsidiaries in Luxembourg, Germany, Canada and the United States. In 2006, Demathieu & Bard’s consolidated revenues totalled €530 million before tax. The company is headed by a Supervisory Council, chaired by Philippe Bard, and an board of directors led by Chairman Jean-François Piquet and CEO René Simon.

With its recognized know-how and long track record in building bridges and tunnels, Demathieu & Bard has broadened the scope of its activity to other civil engineering works and particularly buildings, which now account for more than half of the company’s business.
