1917 examines artistic creation in wartime on the scale of a single "impossible year "¹ when the world floundered in endless, devastating conflict.

Centre Pompidou-Metz, first decentralisation of a national cultural establishment in France, Centre Pompidou, was developed in collaboration with the greater urban community - Communauté d’Agglomération de Metz Métropole.
