During your visit to the Centre Pompidou-Metz, enjoy a gourmet break in elegant surroundings at the restaurant “La Voile Blanche”.
Inspired by the image of a kaleidoscope, designer Patrick Jouin and architect Sanjit Manku have designed a space using glass panels, playing on reflections and the perception of images to create the illusion of infinity. The geometrical aspect of this space is offset by the curves of the petal-shaped chairs, inviting you to relax and enjoy a gourmet meal.
“La Voile Blanche”, with its dining room and panoramic terrace, is managed by Jean-Marie Visilit, chef at the Grange de Condé (a famous establishment twenty kilometres from Metz). Original in his approach, Jean-Marie Visilit has chosen to add a contemporary touch to the regional cuisine of fresh produce from the local markets. Some delicacies featuring on his menu are fuseau lorrain, loin of pork, hind steak, grilled andouillette and Stein-pidou.
There’s a menu for everyone, ranging from lunch breaks, quick snacks and business lunches to high tea.
